On Monday, May 21, 2012, the American Institute for Contemporary German Studies (AICGS) at Johns Hopkins University, will host a conference on “The Potential of Linking Quality of Medical Care with Payment Structures in the German and U.S. Healthcare Systems.” The conference will be held from 9:30am to 3:15pm at the

Bringing together an interdisciplinary group of scholars and experts from Germany and the United States, this conference discusses pay for performance schemes in Germany and the U.S. The conference is part of the Institute’s project on Health Care in the U.S. and in Germany, which examines issues of health care reform in both countries. AICGS is a Washington-based, independent, non-profit public policy organization affiliated with Johns Hopkins University that works in Germany and the United States to address current and emerging policy challenges in the German-American and transatlantic relationships.
